If you don’t but you do like walking in Dalyan’s surroundings, this booklet “Okçular Village -- a Guide” is certainly worth the “investment” of 15 TL. It makes really nice reading matter, the walks are well-described and all of the money raised from sales is solely used to fund environmental and community projects in Okçular village.

Dalyan News : DALYAN SHALL BE ADVANCED BY PROTECTION
|
| on 2010/5/24 18:17:54 (38 reads) |
Mayor of Dalyan, Arif SARI, explained his successful studies and goals concerning the development and protection of the town of Dalyan.
We balanced the accounts; We were not aware of the abundance of the debt burden in the account of the Dalyan Municipality after the elections of 29th March. We closed the net budget of 2009 by currenting to the profit status of 97.196 tl, on the condition of an income of 3.973.025 Turkish Liras and an expense of 3.875.828 tl. Thus, while the municipality debt we received was 1.431.000 tl, we had finished the budget of 2009 with 1.334.000 tl, except of the dal-bel company. Yet there are still debts, which are being transmitted to us, dating back to old times owing to the court results of 2007-2008. We have made the debt liability of the first 7-8 months payable. We enabled the constitution of some debts and paid the urgent ones. We principally terminated the public debts, which were compulsory to be paid, as the primary target.
